You are hot like the Summer Special!

I am honored to be featured on Living Social, and if you do not know what Living Social is, then I advise you to head over and see what Deals they have going in your city!  I was beyond ecstatic that they wanted to feature my Boudoir Photography and ladies, this is the most affordable it will ever get!! Seriously! It is definitely a “You are hot like the Summer Special” that will only last for well, one more day! Head over and check it out and definitely purchase or gift a Boudoir session for yourself or for someone else!  Many people instantly think that Boudoir Photography is nude, semi-nude or just a woman in her underwear.  It is SO MUCH MORE THAN THAT!! To me it is an experience!  An experience of being pampered, being the focal point and showcasing all of your beauty in an elegant and sexy manner.  You can wear underwear, you can wear a dress or you can wear nothing.  It is entirely up to you what you feel sexy and beautiful in.  Some prefer to wear sexy lingerie but I love fashion and want you to showcase it as well.  Mix in a blazer with a sexy lingerie ensemble; pair a cute mini dress with heels and you are good to go or simply wear a beautiful bra and panty ensemble.  The key is to wear something that accentuates your body, flaunts your curves, makes you feel sexy & beautiful and that is comfortable.  Who wants to wear something uncomfortable whilst being photographed?  I know I would not! Feel free to check my Pinterest boards for tips on what to wear or check out my Boudoir Fashion board!  It is only fair to end a post with imagery and I have to post this portrait of Victoria!  She totally rocked her session last Sunday and I am loving her images!  This particular image speaks to me and not because I took it but because her beautiful eyes and sexy lips catch my attention. Victoria you are such a beautiful young lady–inside and out–and I wish you all the best in life, love, your career, prosperity and good health! XoRo

“Sex appeal is fifty percent what you’ve got and fifty percent what people think you’ve got.” ~Sophia Loren~I absolutely adore V's eyes and her heart shaped lips! Beautiful lady!

How do you define beauty?

Being beautiful is something that we hear often. How do you say what it is or should I ask, how do you describe it?  Almost every young girl & lady and especially a woman asks themselves this question some point in their life.  “I want to look beautiful” is a phrase you often hear a young girl describe the look she anticipates for her high school Prom, her Senior Portraits or on that night of a special school dance. You often hear women say that same phrase when they describe the way they want to look & feel on their wedding day or perhaps on a date night  or just whenever. 😉  Guys/Men perhaps wonder the same thing as well but they do not particular use the phrase “beautiful” but perhaps “handsome, swaggerific, buff, GQ, hot, sexy…ad nauseum.  What exactly is the definition of beauty? Trust me, I know what Merriam Webster says beautiful is, but to describe what is beautiful and what is not is not quite that simple.  To me there is a huge shade of gray when it comes to that topic.   Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and honestly you can definitely be beautiful most often when you think that you are not. You know that day you have when your hair styled right, your makeup looks great and your ensemble looks great & feels great on you–on your body…you feel beautiful! No one can take away a good hair day or a good makeup day! Seriously! Only humidity can ruin those two things and living in the South, it can do so often!  Bottom line is that you and only you can decide, know and truly understand your beauty.  We are all beautiful in one way or another and I love showing or should I say exposing that beauty.  Bringing it to light and showing it to the world.  Know that you are beautiful in your own form and flaunt it…own it!  After all Marilyn Monroe did and she was just an average, beautiful woman–with curves! ;D

I hope that everyone is having a great Summer but I definitely want to take the time to let the Gulf Coast families know that I am praying for them, their safety, homes and health.  The damage that Isaac has caused thus far has been mighty but also on the unfortunate seven year anniversary of Hurricane Katrina.   I truly hope that Hurricane Isaac moves faster and keeps you all out of harms way.  My prayers are with you and a special prayer to a few families in particular that I know in those areas.  Stay safe! Album Design and Upload Fail…

Designing an album is not easy as most people may think.  Templates do  help but it is still quite time consuming. There is nothing like taking the time to design an album, get the pictures exactly how you would like them and then bam…. → the album does not upload or uploading it is extremely weird.  Thankfully my representative called and walked me through the process on her own time.  I truly appreciated it.  I am new to this particular print lab and wanted to see if their albums would work best for me and my clients.  Do not get me wrong, I love the labs that I use, but it is always good to  try new things.  I only hope that the album turns out amazing!  It’s pretty much a Boudoir studio album so we shall see how it turns out! 😀

Happy Tuesday!  I hope everyone has a great day! Ⓡ

I had to share some images from a recent Boudoir shoot that I did for a client as her anniversary gift to her husband–and herself!  I cannot show the other ones that LOVE that truly show how sexy and gorgeous this young woman is but these are some that I can share!  🙂
